I joined Team Adventure in 2010 by happy accident. My colleagues and I, all clinical social workers, were looking for ways to engage and interact with the families we worked with in a way that was meaningful and different. Someone suggested utilizing a ropes course, and one short google search later, I found Team Adventure and a newfound passion for the practice of Adventure Therapy. I am in awe of the changes that can happen in a family, group or individual, when they spend some time out in nature working together on a challenge course. When not practicing, learning, or teaching Adventure Therapy, or playing with Team Adventure, I enjoy a variety of outdoor activities and eating delicious food. Team Adventure is a great group to learn, play, and work with, I am proud and humbled to be a part of the Team Adventure family!
