Jon Jensen
Hello, My name is Jon Jensen. I have been teaching Physical education for 20 years, the past 16 years at William R. Beard Alternative School in Syracuse, NY. My adventure experience began in college with Project Adventure classes in 1986-87. From 1997 to the present I have been involved in facilitating, directing, and teaching adventure programming at area courses. I am currently the supervisor of the SCSD's Meacham/McCarthy Ropes Challenge Course. I also facilitate at Lafayette Ropes Challenge Course and courses at Raquette Lake, NY. My educational philosophy is to encourage people to remain actively involved in physical and mental challenges throughout their life. The thing I enjoy most is spending time with my beautiful family in any endeavor.
